What to do after you buy a ticket?

So, you've secured your spot and bought yourself a ticket for your next, or quite possibly first, UKTC event. This article helps break down step by step what happens next and how you can make sure you're fully prepared for your weekend.

Confirmation email

We will send you an email with your order number and confirmation of purchase. Please make a note of your order number as you will need to reference it if you need to confirm your ticket at a later date. This is most relevant who purchase tickets using a different email address than their BCP account or buying tickets for other players.

Event registration

Registration emails are sent out 10 days before the event, so do not worry that you don't get one immediately after purchasing, just make sure you keep an eye on your emails for when the registration emails are due.

list submission

Once registration opens, you will have until 23:59 on the Sunday before the event to submit your list, following our policies any rules and updates that are published on or before this date will be in use, for our Warhammer 40,000 events we run 2000 points matched play rules and restrictions for list building. Legend units are not permitted at our events.

Policies and Procedures

If it is your first time joining us, or it has been a while, you may not be fully up to date on our current policies and procedures, we update these regularly so make sure you check them regularly and comply with them. We have a set of articles to break these down and help you find all that you need to know:

Before the event

After registration completes, we will share out a list checking document, where you will be assigned two lists to check. This is to ensure that incorrect lists are identified and resolved before the event itself. If you do spot anything wrong in a list, please email our customer service as soon as possible to help get it resolved.

After the lists have been checked, we announce the first round pairings on Wednesday on Best Coast Pairings. This is where the fun really starts, from there you can start your preperation and get ready for the weekend and your games. We will also share a practical bits email, which contains specific information for that event.

Where to find tickets

All the tickets to our events can be found in our store: https://www.uktc.events/shop

Once you have got your ticket then the next step is simple, time to get some practice in and enjoy yourself until it's time for the event, we are looking forward to welcoming you already.
