The UK Tournament Circuit (UKTC).

Part-time | £12,000 per year.

Base: Melton Mowbray, with travel to events.

Help us deliver great Warhammer tournaments across the UK.

We’re looking for a reliable, organised and practical person to join UKTC, supporting our Senior Event Manager with tournament preparation and delivery. You’ll play an important part in making our events run smoothly, with particular responsibility for warehouse organisation, stock management and transporting equipment.

This is a hands-on role combining behind-the-scenes preparation with busy event weekends. It would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in keeping things organised and is happy to get stuck in.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the Senior Event Manager with planning, preparing and delivering Warhammer tournaments.

  • Keeping the warehouse organised and maintaining accurate inventory and stock records.

  • Picking, checking and packing terrain, gaming equipment and event supplies.

  • Loading and unloading vans, securing loads safely and transporting equipment to and from venues.

  • Helping set up and pack down events, including tables, terrain, signage and equipment.

  • Supporting event operations on site and helping resolve practical issues as they arise.

  • Checking returned equipment, reporting damage or missing items and preparing stock for the next event.

What we’re looking for:

  • A full, valid driving licence suitable for driving our event vans, and confidence driving and transporting equipment safely.

  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and a dependable approach to work.

  • A practical attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.

  • Clear communication and the ability to work well in a busy team.

  • Willingness to undertake hands-on tasks, including loading, unloading and moving equipment, using appropriate equipment and safe working practices.

  • Availability for regular weekend work and travel away from home.

Experience in events, warehousing, stock management or logistics would be useful. An interest in Warhammer or tabletop gaming is welcome, but you don’t need to be an expert in the games to contribute to a great event.

Working pattern:

The role typically involves two events per month, each following a Friday-to-Monday working pattern. Event weekends involve long days and travel away from home, including overnight stays. Warehouse preparation and stock management are also central to the role; the full schedule and contracted hours will be discussed during recruitment.

To apply:

Send your CV and a short introduction explaining your relevant experience and availability to Zachary Becker at zachary.becker@uktc.events, with the subject “Assistant Event Manager & Logistics Operative”.
