Venue Referral Programme

While we are active in finding new venues to expand the UKTC coverage, we are not able to find all the hidden gems towns and villages might have available.
We want to get players involved to find unusual or hidden away venues they know that could work for the UKTC.
The Venue Finder Programme gets you involved in this process by suggesting venues you know, that fit out key criteria.
Submit a Venue you know that fits and if we go there for a UKTC event you'll be given a finders fee of £300.
In the event we already know about the venue beforehand there won't be a fee or if someone else introduces it to us first then the first person would get the fee.
Our key criteria for Venues
in descending order:
Hall space
Due to the nature of 40k space required is actually based on how many tables we can fit.
Our regular attendees will already have an idea of the type and size of space that works for our events.
If it's a local leisure center you're recommending, generally we need halls that are at least '8-court halls' ; this means there's space for 8 badminton courts. These are commonly called 'double sports halls'.
Alternatively if your local venue is a little different and quirky you might be better off going of area, in which case we look for halls bigger than 1150m2
Parking
For all our players who drive to our events they all require parking at or near the venue, any venue you recommend should have adequate on site parking or a car park in the immediate vicinity.
Location
Location is very important for an easy transit to and from the venue, if the venue is placed right next to a motorway exit or within walking distance to a train station it helps players highly.
