The Windsor Super-Major was epic! A fantastic debut for our all new UKTC tournament, the event saw nearly 300 Warhammer 40,000, Kill Team, and Old World players convene to battle it out over 2 days of amazing tabletop action. This was a great example of the best parts of the UKTC: meeting old friends, making new ones, and having a great time overall.
Whilst everyone played, only two players went undefeated in the 40k main event. Battling it out through 5 rounds of regular play, and 2 rounds in the top cut.

Best general: Nassim Fouchane - Warmasters
Congratulations to our first place winner, Nassim. Adding another UKTC trophy to his cabinet, marking his second Super-Major win this season after his Leicester win in December. Piloting a very aggressive gunline Space Marine army for a great 7-0 run.

Runner Up: David Gaylard - Ignite
Once again David makes another undefeated run at a UKTC event and finishing second based on battle points. This does not diminish the achievement and the consistency required to make back to back 7-0 runs is rarely seen.

Both Marine lists contain frankly ridiculous amounts of ranged output with the double repulsor executioner and triple ballistuses (ballisti?) able to deal out punishing damage at range. The Blade of Ultramar detatchment for both allows the repeated doctrines and adaptability across all the match ups.
Best Overall: Tom Godfrey - Cross Swords
It is not just the winning that we like to celebrate at our events, but all parts of the hobby. Sportsmanship and painting scores are metrics we track and are a core part of peoples enjoyments at events, it is with great pleasure that we can award Tom as our best overall for Windsor. With exemplary sportmanship scores and a stunning Ork army this was certainly well deserved!
