The UKTC 2027 Calendar: Bigger, Better and Closer to Home

On Friday morning, we announced the full UKTC 2027 events calendar.

You can now see the full year of UKTC super-majors, decide which ones work for you and start planning your 2027 season.

But the calendar is about much more than dates.

A decade of delivering events

The UK events landscape is entering a new period of growth. For the last ten years, the UKTC has been building the people, equipment, systems and experience needed to deliver Super-Major events consistently across the country.

We have grown the London Grand Tournament from a 88 players into the largest Warhammer 40,000 tournament in the world. We run the world’s largest Warhammer 40,000 teams events. Our Super-Majors regularly bring together hundreds of players, from first-time attendees to some of the best competitors on the planet.

But we do not take for granted that you will choose UKTC. We intend to keep earning that choice through the scale of our events, the standards we deliver and the community we have spent the last decade building.

We made promises. Now we are delivering them.

For the 2026 season, we committed to reinvesting into the player experience: improving our terrain, expanding our trained referee programme and building the reserves needed to respond properly to 11th Edition.

We also listened to your practical feedback about space, food, facilities and venues.

Although we expected these improvements to take the full year, many are already visible at our recent events. There is more room around the tables, better access to facilities and a much stronger standard of venue.

The next improvements are already underway.

Our new gaming tables will remove the awkward join beneath the mat by placing each battlefield on a larger single table. They will also be taller, making five rounds of moving models considerably kinder on your back. We are also transitioning into 11th Edition with new pre-painted terrain.

The UK’s big stage: More Super-Majors within reach

Our long-term goal is to make competitive Warhammer more accessible across the UK. This means bringing the scale and atmosphere of a UKTC Super-Major closer to more people.

The 2027 calendar stretches from Edinburgh to Taunton, with more major events within reach of players throughout the country.

For many of you, that means less travel. It could mean avoiding a hotel, reducing the cost of attending or simply making it possible to participate when family and work commitments would otherwise get in the way.

It also means more opportunities for new players to experience a super-major event without feeling that they need to cross the country to do so.

At the same time, our destination events will continue to grow and deliver the scale and atmosphere for which UKTC is known.

The Winter International Team Tournament is moving to the National Exhibition Centre. We will host the biggest Warhammer teams event in the world at one of the best event venues in the world and welcoming teams from across the UK and overseas.

That is what we mean by making the hobby more accessible. We want more Warhammer, closer to home, without sacrificing on size, continuing to create the enormous shared experiences that people remember.

A season that matters

At the UKTC, a single Super-Major is just the first step, your result at a UKTC Super-Major does not disappear when the hall closes on Sunday evening.

It contributes to rankings, stories with your mate, faction races and a season-long journey. A player can begin at a local RTT, develop through local competition, step onto the stage at a Super-Major and eventually play under the lights against some of the best players in the world.

Our ITTs create a team culture that extends far beyond five individual games. Clubs and Teams prepare togethe and compete for something larger than an individual placing.

Our Referee Programme trains officials who can support both UKTC events and their local communities. Our Grassroots Support and Terrain Library programmes help organisers create more opportunities to play. UKTC.TV gives players, clubs and events greater visibility.

The UKTC’s purpose is to connect and strengthen that activity, creating a clear national circuit in which every level of competition has meaning.

Everything UKTC has become was built alongside the players, clubs, organisers, referees and volunteers who believed the UK could support something bigger and we remain independent, responsive and committed to reinvesting directly in that community.

What comes next

Our calendar announcment last week was the start of the 2027 campaign, over the coming weeks, we will share more information about individual events, venues, ticket-release dates and the improvements we are making across the circuit. Starting with more details on our Winter Teams Tourmament - the BIGGEST team event in the world, this year being held at the NEC with space for over 1,000 players.

You will see regional calendars that make it easier to identify the events closest to you, alongside a national map showing just how much of the country the 2027 circuit will cover.

Most importantly, you will continue to see us deliver. We have spent ten years building the UKTC community.

Our commitment for 2027 is straightforward:

  • Less distance between you and your next Super-Major.

  • The strongest team-event culture in the World.

  • A connected competitive season in which every result matters.

  • Visible reinvestment in tables, terrain, referees and the player experience.

The full UKTC 2027 calendar is available now. Save the dates that matter to you, gather your team and keep an eye out for the ticket-release announcements.

The UK’s biggest stage is ready. See you at the Supers.
