The Sheffield GT has wrapped for another amazing weekend! One of our fastest growing events, had over 250 Warhammer 40,000, players fight it out over 2 days of intense competition. We saw all the bits that made a UKTC event so special, and a tournament roster of world class names.
Whilst everyone played, only two players went undefeated in the 40k main event. Fighting through all 7 rounds without dropping a single game.

Best general: Innes Wilson Stat Check
Congratulations to our first place winner, Innes. Adding another UKTC trophy to his cabinet, marking his third consecutive UKTC Super-Major Win, with as many different lists. This time dominating the field with the Tau Empire.
Innes was leveraging the mobility and lethality of the Mont'Ka tau build to close out most of his games with his usual speed. The key unit that tipped him to the Tau is the all new Twin Lance, boasting unparalleled mobility and firepower for their cost.

Best Overall: Luke Cook - Ballers Brawlers
It is not just the competitive success that gets rewarded at our events, we also love to consider all aspects of the hobby. Sportsmanship and painting scores are metrics we track and are a core part of people's enjoyment at events. The winner for this year's event is Luke Cook, with excellent sportsmanship scores, a deep run of 4-1 and a striking deathwatch paint scheme.
