Team Sigil Crowned 2025/26 National Team Rankings Champions

The final dice have been rolled, the Summer ITT results are in, and we can officially crown Team Sigil as the 2025/26 UKTC National Team Rankings Champions.
And there could hardly have been a more emphatic way to finish the season.
Sigil arrived at the Summer ITT already sitting at the top of the National Team Rankings, but rather than simply protecting their position, they went out and won the event outright: securing the Summer ITT title and putting the finishing touch on a remarkable season.
Their four ITT results tell the story:
Autumn ITT - 6th
Winter ITT - 2nd
Spring ITT - 1st
Summer ITT - 1st
Two wins, a second place and only one result outside the podium is an extraordinary level of consistency across an entire season.

The 2025/26 National Team Rankings podium
Sigil finish the season at No. 1, but there has been serious competition behind them throughout the year.
Mind Goblins finish the season as our National Team Rankings runners-up, while Fire and Dice - Targaryen complete the podium in third.
The final top five is:
1. Team Sigil
2. Mind Goblins
3. Fire and Dice - Targaryen
4. Carnage
5. Warmasters
But the NTR is about far more than the podium.
Dozens of teams have battled across the ITT season, earning points at every event and fighting for position all the way down the rankings.

Congratulations to all five teams at the top! And particularly to Mind Goblins and Fire and Dice for pushing the title race across the season.
There were strong performances deeper into the rankings too. Carnage finish fourth after building momentum across the year and ending with a fourth-place finish at the Summer ITT, while Carnage Behemoth closed their campaign with an excellent second place last weekend.

Teams 40k is getting bigger
While this announcement closes one season, it also marks the beginning of something much larger.
Teams 40k in the UK is growing rapidly.
Over the last few years, ITTs have gone from being one part of the competitive calendar to becoming an increasingly important part of how the UK scene plays, practises and competes.
The team environment brings something fundamentally different to singles 40k. List construction changes. Pairings matter. Captains matter. Players have roles within a roster. Practice becomes collaborative, and the result belongs to the whole team rather than one individual.
Increasingly, teams are becoming communities in their own right.
That is something we want to lean into.
Seven ITTs next season — and the first is already sold out
Following LGT, we reset the rankings and begin the 2026/27 National Team Rankings season. And it will be our biggest teams season yet.
Next season features seven ITTs, creating more opportunities to compete, more opportunities for new teams to establish themselves and a much deeper season-long race for the National Team Rankings title.
And demand is already showing just how quickly the teams scene is growing.
The Autumn ITT - the opening event of the new season - is already completely sold out.
But if your team missed out, you do not have long to wait.
The world's biggest teams event returns to Birmingham
The second event of the season is the Winter ITT at the NEC Birmingham - the biggest Warhammer 40,000 teams event in the world.
This is where a huge part of the UK teams community comes together under one roof and where the early shape of the new National Team Rankings season will begin to emerge.
A limited number of team tickets are still available.
If your team wants to be part of it, now is the time to enter.
With Autumn already sold out, we expect remaining Winter capacity to move quickly.
A new Teams Portal
We are also working on a new dedicated Teams Portal as part of the next stage of the programme.
As the UK becomes increasingly teams-centric, we want the infrastructure around teams play to develop with it.
The portal will give teams a stronger identity within the UKTC ecosystem and create a proper home for the National Team Rankings, teams, results and the wider season.
It is part of a broader direction for UK competitive 40k: making teams easier to form, easier to follow and more meaningful to be part of.
There is a big difference between five players entering an event together and belonging to a team that competes across an entire season.
We want to build more of the latter.
One increasingly connected teams scene
There is also greater alignment developing between the UK domestic teams scene and the international game.
With WTC and UKTC now playing on the same terrain, the relationship between domestic teams competition and the international teams environment becomes much closer.
Players can practise in the environment they will compete in.
Teams can develop systems and rosters across a consistent terrain framework.
And the enormous amount of teams experience being generated through the UK ITT circuit can feed naturally into the wider international scene.
For aspiring team players, there has arguably never been a better time to get involved.
You do not need to begin with ambitions of playing at the WTC. Build a team. Enter an ITT. Learn pairings. Work out what roles suit your players. Develop together.
That is how the ecosystem grows.
But first: the LGT
Before the new NTR season begins, there is one enormous piece of unfinished business.
The London Grand Tournament is next.
The biggest singles Warhammer 40,000 event in the world returns this September, bringing together the UK scene and players from across the world for the flagship weekend of the competitive calendar.
And tickets are now almost completely sold out.
If you are planning to play at the LGT but have not yet secured your place, do not leave it any longer.
Once they're gone, they're gone.
The next race starts after LGT
For now, though, the final word belongs to this season's champions.
Team Sigil are the 2025/26 National Team Rankings Champions.
They started the season with a sixth-place finish, climbed to second in Winter, won Spring and then finished the job by winning Summer.
A championship earned across the full season.
Congratulations to Sigil, to Mind Goblins and Fire and Dice for completing the podium, and to every team that has contributed to another major step forward for teams 40k in the UK.
Next stop: LGT.
Then the rankings reset.
