Location: Fully Remote
Salary: £30,000–£40,000 per annum (depending on skills & experience)
Contract: Permanent, full time
The role
We are looking for a professional, studio-minded painter to join the team full time. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting to studio standards. The role is suitable for an experienced professional — including former Eavy Metal painters or Golden Demon winners — who wants a stable, full-time studio role.
Key responsibilities
Paint work to a consistently high standard .
Deliver finished display pieces to agreed deadlines and quality levels.
Prepare minis for paint (assembly, cleaning, priming), and perform basing and final sealing.
Maintain studio paint stocks, tools and health & safety standards.
Mentor and coordinate any junior painters or contractors brought into the studio.
Essential experience & skills
Proven track record of professional miniature painting — commercial commissions, studio work or equivalent.
Portfolio / gallery demonstrating display standard work across multiple subjects.
Excellent technical control (thin blends, glazing, non-destructive highlighting, freehand where required).
Good organisational skills and experience managing multiple projects to deadline.
Desirable
Former Eavy Metal painter or Golden Demon winner (or equivalent award/industry recognition).
Ability to photograph finished work to a high standard (lighting, composition, basic retouching).
Experience creating short video content (process clips, timelapses, social clips) and basic video editing.
Experience working with a studio process.
