This weekend was a massive weekend for Team 40k. We had over 350 players arrive to duke out over six rounds of intense team 40k action.
Thank you to everybody who joined, creating an unforgettable atmosphere and another roaring success for the UKTC. Teams are one of our highlight events throughout the year and this latest instalment in the series was special.
We had unforgettable memories made and experiences shared. Now we get to celebrate everybody's achievements throughout the weekend.

Best Generals - team sigil
Topping up the list of our ones to watch coming into this event, Team Sigil are our overall champions for this event. Congratulations to them. This has been a long time coming and after their very close run at the Winter ITT earlier in the year, they're able to convert in Spring for a first-place finish.
Chris Cho | Space Marines (Astartes) |
Samuel Martin | Adeptus Mechanicus |
Vincent Stein | Emperor's Children |
Mickey Baird-Parker | Chaos Space Marines |
Gustavo José Branco Varandas de Sousa | Astra Militarum |
mixing a strong blend of armies here with dedicated faction specialists for Adeptus Mechanicus, Astrum Tarim, and Space Marines. They were able to pair themselves and have a very strong run throughout the weekend, taking down Mind Gobliins in the final in convincing fashion.
1st Runner Up - Mind Gobliins
Completing round five as one of the three undefeated teams, Mind Gobliins were able to enter the top cut based on their points, having a very strong run through the field and taking it down some very big names on their path to get there.
Unfortunately they fell at the final hurdle but it was a fantastic result nonetheless for Mind Gobliins, making it their fourth top cut as they continue to chase their third champions trophy.
Dom Maidlow | Death Guard |
Jamie Chapman | Chaos Space Marines |
Kyle Grundy | T'au Empire |
Luke Harris | Necrons |
Oliver Gaisford | Space Marines |
Fielding four of the most popular factions at this event, it is no surprise they did so well as they did, when they pair meta strength with the skill of each of these players.
A clear and practiced strategy through all the rounds leads to great success, having a 4/0/1 record at the end of regular play.
2nd Runner Up - fire and dice targaryen
Another one from the Ones to Watch and a team that have been pushing the envelope on team events recently is Fire and Dice. A fantastic run for them this weekend with some very unique lists. This really shows the skill and performance that you can get out of faction specialists playing lists that they know inside and out into matchups they know inside and out.
Congratulations to Fire and Dice for a massive run, just narrowly missing out on the top cut at this event. Hopefully we will see them getting over the line in future events.
Hristo Nikolov | Tyranids |
