The dice are packed away, the armies are back in their cases, and we’re still looking through the photos. The London Grand Tournament 2026 gave us plenty to remember: a hall full of games, beautifully painted miniatures and people enjoying a weekend together.

For this look back, we’re letting the pictures lead. Whether you were there with your club, came along for your first LGT or followed from home, here are a few moments from the weekend.

Wide view of the London Grand Tournament hall filled with players and rows of gaming tables.

Take it all in. Rows of tables, armies on display and players everywhere you look. Every table in this photograph had its own game unfolding, and its own story to take home.

Before the first dice roll: army cases in hand and the queue stretching along the venue. Thank you to everyone who made the journey to join us.

A player measures a move between painted miniatures and ruined buildings on an LGT gaming table.

Down at table level, the big hall becomes one battlefield. A tape measure, a carefully placed miniature and a decision to make. These are the little moments you spend the journey home talking about.

Painted armies displayed together, including red and black models and a turquoise scenic display.

There was plenty to stop and admire between rounds, too. Painted armies and ambitious displays brought colour and character to the hall. To everyone who put time into building, painting and bringing their collection: thank you for sharing your hobby with us.

This is a favourite. A smile across the table says a lot about why we keep coming back. The games matter, and so do the people you get to play them with.

A moment with the stripes. Our judges and event crew put a huge amount into helping the weekend run, from answering questions at the tables to the work that happens before players arrive. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.

And then there are the things you don’t see at every tournament. A Space Marine helmet and an oversized prop weapon? Very much at home at the LGT.

One more photo before heading home. Congratulations to everyone who had a moment on the awards stage, and thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend worth celebrating.

Most of all, thank you for being part of the LGT. Players, painters, judges, crew, exhibitors and supporters all help make this gathering what it is. We hope these pictures bring back a few good memories, or give you a taste of the atmosphere if you couldn’t join us.

See you at the supers.
