UKTC Command Legal Stuff

UKTC Command — Terms of Use

Effective date: 16 September 2026

Version: 1.0

1. Who we are

UKTC Command is operated by GT Event Services Limited, trading as the UK Tournament Circuit (“UKTC”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13662406.

Our registered office is 43 Dukes Wood, Crowthorne, England, RG45 6NF.

For app support, questions or complaints, email contact@uktc.events.

2. About these Terms

These Terms govern your use of UKTC Command and its associated app services. When you create an account, we ask you to accept these Terms. Please read them before accepting and keep a copy for your records. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use account-only features.

Our UKTC Command Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information: UKTC Command Legal Stuff. Accepting these Terms does not give consent to optional marketing or tracking.

Separate terms apply when you buy an event ticket, merchandise or another product. Those terms will be made available at the relevant checkout. These Terms do not replace the rules of an event or the published rules of a ranking system.

For use of Command, these app-specific Terms take precedence over inconsistent general website terms. Nothing in any of those terms limits rights that you have under applicable consumer law.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 to create an account. Command accounts are for adults only. You must not create or use an account if you are under 18.

You must provide accurate account information, keep it reasonably up to date and protect your login credentials. Do not impersonate another person, claim their results or link a BCP account that you are not entitled to use.

Tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. We will not automatically hold you responsible for unauthorised activity where you have not caused or contributed to it.

Some personalised features depend on a linked Best Coast Pairings (“BCP”) identity and available competition data. If you do not link an account, or the link cannot be verified, those features may be unavailable.

4. What Command provides

Command provides access to player statistics, competition information, rankings, achievements and the community and event features available in your version of the app.

Command is free to download and use. There are currently no subscriptions, paid app features or in-app purchases of digital services. Event tickets and physical merchandise are purchased separately through our web store at UKTC web store.

We will make any charge clear before you agree to pay. You will not become liable for a new paid service merely because you continue to hold an account.

Features described as planned, in development or coming soon are not available until released. Availability may depend on device compatibility, app version, connection and the availability of third-party data. Current device requirements are shown in the relevant app-store listing.

You are responsible for your normal device and connectivity costs. We may provide updates for security, compatibility and functionality, and explain when an update is needed to continue using the service.

5. BCP data, rankings and corrections

Command uses information supplied by BCP, UKTC and relevant event organisers. Results, player matches, rankings and achievements may take time to update and may change when a source record is corrected or an event is finalised.

We take reasonable care when presenting information, but an app display may contain an error or differ temporarily from an official source. If a discrepancy affects event participation, qualification or an award, contact us so that we can check the applicable published rules and source records.

To report a problem, email contact@uktc.events with your account details, the event or record concerned and an explanation. Do not send us your password. We may ask for reasonable evidence to confirm an identity or correction.

We can correct genuine errors and recalculate affected rankings or achievements. Where a correction materially affects your account, we will explain the reason on request, subject to privacy, security and legal restrictions.

BCP is a separate service. Its own terms apply to your use of BCP. These Terms do not grant you rights to access or reuse BCP information outside the permissions provided by the relevant service or rights holder.

6. Digital achievements, rewards and Skullz

Achievements recognise activity under the earning criteria published in the app or linked award rules. Those criteria explain relevant thresholds, eligible events, time periods and whether an award is seasonal or permanent.

Historic results may appear in your statistics without qualifying for a retrospective reward. Reward eligibility starts from the point specified in the applicable award rules, with any expressly stated starter or other exceptions.

Skullz are digital progression points. They are not money, an investment or a right to cash payment. Digital achievements and points cannot be sold or transferred between accounts unless an expressly published feature permits this.

A digital award does not automatically include a free physical badge, ticket, discount or other product. Any opportunity to buy or claim a physical item, and its price, availability and conditions, will be stated separately.

We may withhold, correct or remove progress obtained through a genuine data error, duplicate account, manipulation or breach of the earning criteria. We will act reasonably and provide a way to challenge the decision.

We may revise future earning criteria for fair competition, security, technical or programme reasons. We will explain material changes before they take effect where reasonably possible. We will not arbitrarily remove correctly earned permanent awards or retrospectively reduce an existing paid entitlement. Seasonal expiry or reset applies only where clearly stated in the applicable rules.

If you think an award has been incorrectly refused or removed, contact contact@uktc.events.

7. Tickets, merchandise and external services

A link in Command may take you to a separate website to buy a ticket or product. Before paying, check the seller, price, event details, delivery arrangements and applicable cancellation and refund terms.

Following an event, appearing in “Who’s Going” or earning an achievement does not by itself reserve a place or complete a purchase. A booking is confirmed only through the relevant seller’s purchase process.

App account closure or suspension does not automatically cancel a separate purchase or remove your statutory rights concerning that purchase.

External sites and services operate under their own terms and privacy information. We remain responsible for our own obligations; linking to another service does not transfer those obligations to you.

8. Acceptable use and community conduct

Use Command lawfully and treat other people respectfully. You must not use it to harass, threaten, abuse, discriminate against or impersonate anyone; publish unlawful content or another person’s private information without a lawful justification; infringe intellectual property rights; send spam or scams; manipulate results, Kudos or rewards; or interfere with the security or operation of the app.

Do not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, bypass access controls or collect other users’ information through automated means without permission. This does not prevent activity that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Where you can upload content, you must have the rights needed to share it. Report suspected misuse or inappropriate content through any reporting feature provided or by emailing contact@uktc.events. Include enough information to identify the content or account without unnecessarily sharing private information.

We review reports and may remove or restrict content, issue a warning or restrict an account proportionately. You can contact us to request a review of a moderation decision. Any immediate risk to someone’s safety should also be reported to the appropriate emergency service.

9. Intellectual property and your content

The app, its software, branding and UKTC-created materials belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive permission to use the app for its intended purposes while you comply with these Terms. You may not sell, redistribute or commercially exploit it without permission, except where the law allows.

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, support and secure the features you use, in accordance with your applicable visibility settings.

This licence does not give us unrestricted permission to use your content in unrelated advertising. It ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backup, legal or evidential retention explained in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party names, logos and game-related intellectual property remain the property of their owners. Their appearance does not by itself imply endorsement of Command.

10. Availability and changes

We use reasonable care and skill in providing Command. We may temporarily interrupt it for maintenance, updates, security or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will try to minimise disruption and provide notice of planned material interruptions where practical.

We may make reasonable changes to improve the app or respond to legal, security, technical or operational needs. We will give reasonable advance notice of a material reduction in the service, unless urgent action is necessary.

If we discontinue Command or a substantial feature, we will explain the impact and any available options. This does not remove rights relating to services or products you have paid for.

11. Account restrictions and closure

We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse, protect people or systems, comply with law, or address a material breach of these Terms.

Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to put matters right. Immediate action may be necessary for serious or repeated breaches, fraud or urgent safety or security risks. We will not disclose information where doing so would compromise an investigation, another person’s privacy or a legal obligation.

You may request a review by contacting contact@uktc.events. We will consider relevant information and correct mistakes.

You may stop using Command at any time. To request account deletion, use the account-deletion option in the app or email contact@uktc.events with the subject “UKTC Command account deletion”. You can also contact us for help. Deleting the app from your device does not itself delete your account.

Closure may remove access to your digital profile and progress. Our Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and any information retained for a separate lawful purpose. Account deletion does not automatically erase a separately maintained competition record.

12. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.

Command is provided for personal use. We do not accept liability for business losses such as lost business profits, opportunities or business interruption arising from its use.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights concerning digital content, services or purchased goods. An interruption or third-party error does not excuse our own failure to meet those rights.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, security requirements or the way Command operates. The effective date and version appear at the top.

We will bring material changes to your attention before they apply where reasonably possible and seek renewed agreement where required. We will not use an update to retrospectively remove an accrued right. If you do not agree to a material change, you may stop using the affected service and close your account, without losing rights relating to an existing purchase.

14. Complaints and applicable law

Send questions or complaints to contact@uktc.events, or write to GT Event Services Limited at the registered office above. Please explain what happened and what outcome you are seeking.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you retain any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. You may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable consumer law, including the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland where you live there.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply so far as legally possible. Our delay in exercising a right does not mean we waive it.

UKTC Command — Privacy Policy

Effective date: 16 September 2026

Version: 1.0

1. Who we are and how to contact us

UKTC Command is operated by GT Event Services Limited, trading as the UK Tournament Circuit (“UKTC”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We are the controller responsible for the personal information we use for Command.

We are registered in England and Wales under company number 13662406. Our registered office is 43 Dukes Wood, Crowthorne, England, RG45 6NF.

For privacy questions, data-rights requests or complaints, email contact@uktc.events with “UKTC Command privacy” in the subject line, or write to our registered office.

This policy explains information used for Command accounts, linked player information, competition records and available app features. Separate privacy information applies to activities outside this scope, including purchases on a separate checkout. For Command processing, this policy replaces inconsistent general website privacy wording.

This policy provides information; it is not a request for blanket consent. Where we rely on consent for a particular purpose, we ask separately and explain your choices.

2. Information we use and where it comes from

Account information: information you provide when registering or managing an account, including your name, email address, account identifier, authentication information and preferences.

BCP and competition information: identifiers and records obtained from Best Coast Pairings (“BCP”), UKTC and relevant event organisers, including player names, event participation, results, rankings, factions and team affiliations. We use these records to connect the correct player with their statistics and relevant achievements.

We may obtain competition information from published results as well as authorised data feeds. A published result can still be personal information. Some records concern people who have not created a Command account.

App activity: actions you take through available features, such as linking a player identity, following an event or player, using Kudos, recording event interest and earning digital achievements or Skullz.

Information you send us: support enquiries, correction requests, feedback and reports, together with the information reasonably needed to investigate them.

Profile and technical information: profile pictures and other information you choose to upload; IP addresses; device and operating-system information; login and security records; crash reports; push-notification tokens; and information about how you use app features. Technical information is generated when you use the service. Location information, including approximate or precise location where supplied by your device, is used for relevant discovery and matchmaking features, subject to applicable device permissions. You can manage device permissions in your device settings.

BCP imports include available player and opponent identities, contact information, event registrations, match-level results and scores, army and faction information, team affiliations, standings and historical competition records dating back to 2021. The information available varies by event and source record. Access is covered by our agreement with BCP.

Please do not include passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information in messages to us. If a report requires sensitive information, we will explain the appropriate way to provide it and the applicable safeguards.

3. Why we use information and our lawful bases

We use information only for an identified purpose and an applicable lawful basis under UK data protection law.

Providing your account and requested features: we use registration information, the player identity you link and relevant activity records to provide the account, personalised statistics and achievement features you request. Where necessary to deliver our agreement with you, our basis is performance of a contract.

Maintaining competition records and published rankings: we use relevant competition data to provide an accurate and useful record of organised play. Our basis is legitimate interests in maintaining reliable standings, recognising participation and supporting the competitive community, balanced against the rights and reasonable expectations of the people concerned. This may include records about non-account holders. It does not authorise unrelated marketing use.

Support and correction requests: we use the information needed to resolve an account or service issue under our contract with you. For requests from other people, or wider record-integrity issues, we rely on legitimate interests in responding properly and maintaining accurate records.

Security, misuse and disputes: we use relevant account, technical and report information to protect users and systems, investigate manipulation and establish or defend legal claims. Our basis is legitimate interests in operating a safe, reliable service, or legal obligation where a specific law requires the processing.

Service communications: we use contact details to send messages necessary to operate your account, respond to requests or explain important service and security changes. Our basis is contract or, for relevant security and administrative matters outside that contract, legitimate interests.

Optional marketing: where we ask you to opt in to promotional messages, our basis is consent. We do not treat creating a Command account or linking BCP as consent to marketing.

Legal compliance: we process and retain information where necessary to comply with an applicable legal obligation, including dealing with valid data-rights requests.

Discovery and matchmaking: we use your preferences, availability, relevant location and activity to suggest games, players and events and support conversations and arrangements you choose to make. Our basis is contract where this is necessary to provide a requested feature. Service measurement: we use usage and reliability information to understand feature use, diagnose failures and improve the service, relying on legitimate interests where appropriate and consent where required. Checkout links may pass information to our Wix web store to support the purchase journey and attribution. Where consent is required for tracking or a particular use, that requirement applies separately from acceptance of the Terms.

4. What other people can see

Competition results and ranking records are intended to be viewed by others, but this does not mean every part of your account is public.

Within Command, player information and social activity are shared with selected users through the relevant features. This can include profile information, competition records, achievements, Kudos and event interest. Rival follows are private. Information published independently by BCP, UKTC or an event organiser may remain available separately under that source’s publication arrangements. Do not assume that a restriction within Command changes an independently published competition record.

Information that is made public may be copied or retained by other people, independently of us. Do not post information that you do not want the stated audience to see.

Contact us if you believe a public record is inaccurate or disclosure creates a particular privacy concern. We will assess the request and explain our decision.

Our use of information to display a competition record does not, by itself, authorise us to use someone’s identity in an unrelated advertising endorsement.

5. BCP linking and people without an account

Linking BCP enables us to associate the relevant competition records with your Command account. We use the linking and verification process provided in the app to reduce mistaken identity matches.

BCP is responsible for its own processing under its own privacy information. We are responsible for what we obtain and use for Command. Where the original record is held by an organiser or BCP, we may need to coordinate a correction with that source.

If you have no Command account but appear in competition data, the provisions about competition records, lawful bases, visibility, retention and rights still apply to you. You do not need to register to make a privacy request.

You can disconnect BCP using the disconnect option under Account Linking in the app. Disconnecting your account and requesting deletion of information are separate actions. Do not assume disconnection erases previously obtained records or information held by BCP. Contact us if you want information removed or need help understanding the effect on your account.

Where required, we provide privacy information to people whose data we obtain indirectly within the applicable legal timescale, rather than relying solely on their finding this page.

6. Marketing, notifications and device permissions

We distinguish necessary account or service messages from promotions for events, merchandise or other offers.

Where promotional email or push messaging is offered, you can choose whether to receive it. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time through the unsubscribe or preference option provided, or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.

A device-level permission to receive notifications does not, by itself, constitute consent to all marketing. Turning off notifications in your device settings may also prevent useful service alerts.

We offer email and push communications. You can opt out of promotional communications in the app or by email, including through an unsubscribe option where provided. You can also email contact@uktc.events to change your preferences. Necessary service messages are handled separately. We will obtain consent where required by applicable marketing rules.

We ask for device permissions when needed for the relevant feature and explain their purpose. Refusing an optional permission may prevent that feature from working, but does not authorise us to use the data for another purpose.

7. Cookies, analytics and similar technologies

Command and linked web pages may use technologies that store information on, or access information from, your device. What matters is the purpose and operation of each technology, including any third-party software integrated into the app.

These technologies support functions such as authentication, remembering settings, delivering notifications, measuring feature use, diagnosing crashes and understanding visits to our web store. They may involve device identifiers, usage events and diagnostic information. You can contact contact@uktc.events for information about the technologies relevant to your app version and your available choices. The web store also provides its own information about cookies and related controls.

Where consent is required, the relevant technology is not activated until you choose to allow it. You can withdraw that choice through the control described above.

Where a legal exception permits a particular use without consent, we will explain the use and provide any objection mechanism required by law.

8. Who receives information

Information is shared only where relevant to the purposes described in this policy.

Service providers: providers that operate hosting, databases, authentication, communications, technical support or other confirmed app functions on our behalf. They must process information under appropriate contractual restrictions.

Competition sources: BCP and relevant organisers where needed to verify a linked identity, investigate a correction or administer an applicable competition function.

Other users or the public: only the information and audiences described in section 4.

Professional advisers and authorities: where necessary for professional advice, legal claims, compliance with law or responding to a lawful request.

Business transactions: relevant information may be disclosed in a proposed sale or reorganisation under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards. We will explain material changes to who controls your information.

Recipients include providers supporting the app’s hosting, database, authentication, email and push delivery, support, analytics and diagnostics, as relevant to their function. Providers acting on our instructions process information for the services they supply; organisations operating their own services, such as app stores and BCP, are responsible for their own processing. We do not sell personal information to sponsors or advertisers. Contact us for more information about recipients relevant to your use of Command.

When you follow a purchase link, the seller and checkout provider explain their own processing. Command passes information to our Wix web store as part of the linked purchase journey. The information involved depends on the link and transaction. Purchases take place under the web store’s applicable terms and privacy information; contact us if you need details about information associated with a particular purchase.

9. International transfers

Some service providers may store or access information outside the UK. Where a transfer is subject to UK international-transfer requirements, it must be covered by an applicable adequacy arrangement, appropriate safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism. You can contact contact@uktc.events for information about the locations and transfer arrangements relevant to your information.

Where we rely on contractual safeguards, you can contact us to ask for information about them or a copy, subject to appropriate redaction of confidential material. We assess the protection required for the transfer rather than assuming a provider’s UK or European office determines where all processing takes place.

10. How long we keep information

We keep identifiable information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, including any applicable legal requirements. Different categories have different retention periods.

We keep account-related information while your account is in use. Our standard retention period for remaining account records ends 12 months after account deletion. This is not a minimum retention period: information must be removed sooner where it is no longer needed or a valid erasure request requires this. Limited information may be retained separately where necessary for a legal obligation, a live dispute, security or a separately maintained competition or transaction record. Retention for those purposes is determined by the relevant obligation, the duration of the issue and the continuing need for the record. We explain applicable exceptions when responding to a deletion request.

If information must be kept for a live dispute, legal obligation or justified security reason, access and use are limited to that purpose and we review the need to retain it.

We retain only the minimal suppression information reasonably needed to respect an ongoing marketing opt-out. Properly anonymised statistics that no longer identify anyone may be kept separately.

Competition history is not automatically retained forever merely because it was once public. Its retention must meet the purpose and criteria stated above.

11. Account deletion and security

You can request account deletion using the account-deletion option in the app or by emailing contact@uktc.events with the subject “UKTC Command account deletion”. You can also email contact@uktc.events for help. Removing the app from your device does not itself delete your account.

We may take proportionate steps to verify a request so that another person cannot delete your account.

We assess deletion requests against the information we hold and the purposes for which it is needed. Account information may be deleted or anonymised; any justified retention, including backup copies and separate competition or order records, is subject to the retention principles in section 10. We will explain what action we take and any information we need to retain. A request for erasure is handled under your data-protection rights and is not automatically deferred for 12 months.

A request to UKTC does not directly delete information held independently by BCP or another event organiser. We can explain which records we control and where you may need to contact another organisation.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information and limit access to people who need it for an authorised purpose. No system can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you suspect your account has been compromised.

12. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may ask to access your personal information, correct inaccuracies, erase information, restrict processing or receive certain information in a portable format.

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, taking account of your particular situation. We will stop that processing unless we can demonstrate a lawful reason to continue.

You have an absolute right to object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing, including related profiling. We will stop that use when you object.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Email contact@uktc.events to exercise a right. You do not need a Command account. We may request proportionate identity information. We normally respond without charge within one month; where the law permits an extension or clarification, we will explain this and keep you informed.

Rights are not absolute in every situation. If we cannot fully comply, we will explain the legal reason and how you can challenge the decision. Unlinking an account, unsubscribing and requesting deletion are different actions; we will help clarify the effect of your request.

13. Automated calculations and profiling

Command calculates statistics, rankings, digital achievements and progression from applicable rules and source records. These calculations may describe aspects of your participation or performance.

If an outcome appears wrong, you can ask us to investigate through contact@uktc.events and explain which source record or rule is disputed.

These calculations are automated. They compare relevant competition results, participation and app activity with ranking and achievement criteria, and can affect displayed standings, progress, awards and eligibility for related opportunities. Suggestions may also use your preferences, location and relevant activity. You can email contact@uktc.events to challenge an outcome, provide relevant information and request human review. Where applicable law requires an explanation or safeguards for a significant automated decision, we will provide them. We protect trade secrets and confidential implementation details, but this does not remove your statutory information or challenge rights.

14. Children and young people

The minimum age for a Command account is 18.

Command accounts are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not currently carry out age-verification checks. Under-18s must not create or use an account. Competition data supplied by BCP or organisers may nevertheless include younger players who do not have Command accounts. Their information remains subject to the competition-record purposes and privacy rights described in this policy.

If you believe we hold information about a young person in a way that is inappropriate or inconsistent with this policy, contact us so that we can investigate. We consider children’s interests and rights when assessing how their information should be used.

15. Privacy complaints

You can complain about our handling of personal information by emailing contact@uktc.events or writing to our registered office. Please describe your concern and the outcome you are seeking.

We will acknowledge a data-protection complaint within 30 days, take appropriate steps to investigate, keep you informed and explain the outcome without undue delay.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data-protection regulator. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/ or call 0303 123 1113. Contacting us first may help resolve the issue, but this does not remove your right to approach the ICO.

16. Updates to this policy

We keep this policy under review and show its effective date and version above. We will bring material changes to your attention appropriately, including before using information for a new purpose where required.

An update does not turn previous silence into consent or retrospectively authorise a new use of your information. Where a new use requires consent, we will ask for it separately.
